Backgammon Rules

Scoring

Single Game

When one of the players bears off all of his checkers, he wins the game. If at least one checker has been borne off by the opponent, the winner is entitled to 1 point when the cube hasn't been used, or to the number of points or units at stake in accordance with the cube.

Gammon (Double Game)

If the losing player has not managed to bear off even one checker, the winner gets double the amount determined by the cube. This situation is known as a gammon.

Backgammon (Triple Game)

If the losing player has not managed to get all of his checkers out of the winner's home board, the winner gains three times the number of points determined by the cube. This situation is known as a backgammon.
